I was browsing the net recently and came across this little movie.  It came as a surprise to see myself in it.

'disney made me care' by royal steez

Brian is such a busy man, between playing in a Police cover band and collecting AH shopping baskets it seems he manages to squeeze in exhibition every couple of months or so.

So this time we have.....

'During the art fair ‘Art Pie International/Kunstvlaai 2010’ (may 15/23) artist ROYALSTEEZ will show his biggest work so far. More than 75 discarded mattresses, arranged very adjacent , will lay along the channel promonade. The appearance will look like a very large bedroom party, but it would also can be a cemetery. Only the stains are left as paintings of these unknown souls.

Will visitors be able to resist not to lie on it? Or will they be discussted by the confrontation with the most intimate object in a humanlife.'

The title 'Disney made me care' or otherwise thought of as 'Disney trauma' stems an emotional connection with objects, for examples when cars and houses come to life.  Well I'm now off to see if I feel the loneliness of these poor mattresses.

I'm fresh back from a delicious 3 month trip home to Australia.  Whilst there we gave ourselves a little project to create a 'pic-a-day' blog with one pre-requisite being that the picture was to be taken with an 18mm wide angel lens.
